On August 18 evening, at Daewoo Hotel in Hanoi and Grand Hotel in HCMC took place the Opening Ceremony of Doctoral and Master Programs (August Term, 2022) of AIT Vietnam.
This was the first time AIT Vietnam has organized the Opening Ceremony for 3 academic programs at the same time.
Participants of the ceremony were:
- Dr. Phung Van Dong – Director of AIT Vietnam
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam – Deputy Head of International Relations Division, International Co-operation Department, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET)
- Assoc. Prof. & Dr. Roger Levermore – Dean of School of Management (via Zoom Meeting)
- Prof. Dieter Trau – Dean of School of Engineering & Technology (SET)
- Assoc. Prof. Chutiporn Anutariya – Associate Dean of School of Engineering & Technology
- Dr. Tobias Endress – Assistant Professor and Faculty Director of BADT Program
- Prof. & Dr. Nguyen Xuan Vang – Senior Advisor of AIT Vietnam
There was also the attendance of representatives from partners, alumni and new students of 3 programs.
At the ceremony, Dr. Phung Van Dong had an inspiring speech about the proud development journey of AIT and AIT Vietnam, emphasized the effort to improve the quality of training. He also sent the best welcome and wishes to all new students, and expressed his gratefulness to AIT Vietnam’s valued partners for their trust from then till now. AIT Vietnam hoped to continually receive more support for the next 30th anniversary (in 2023) and further journey in the future.
