December 13th – 15th, 2017 – the Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam implemented the training for managers of Electricity Power Trading Company (EPTC), EVN in Ba Vi, Hanoi.
Participated in the 3-day-training course in Suoi Hai Vocational Training Center, Ba Vi Province, Hanoi were nearly 30 Deputy department managers and source staff of EPTC Company, EVN.
Under the guidance of well-trained, long-year-experience in business management, change management area of instructors Dr. Fredric W. Swierczek and MA. Ngo Quy Nham – expert in Human Resource Management, the EPTC-participants had chance to explore and gain variety of knowledge learned in practice, find the direction of applying the knowledge in their daily work. Lecturers were good in time management, showed confidence and professional style in expression for the course content. Participants were very enthusiastic, cooperative and serious in the course activities. This made the training course successfully.
The course focused on knowledge and skills that a manager needs have to manage their work and staff effectively. After the course, participants gain a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a manager: Know how to supervise, coordinate and build an effective team and business culture; Assigning and authorizing employees, while controlling the results of work; Accurate and fair evaluation of employee performance; At the same time, participants can improve communication skills effectively, solve problems, make decisions timely and motivate employees to work better. In addition, participants had opportunity to approach practical situations about task assignments and planning skills integrated by their department heads into the lecture, had a panoramic picture of the actual situation at the company.
At the closing ceremony, EPTC representative – Mr. Nguyen Danh Son – Director of EPTC thanked AITCV’s trainers, EPTC participants and shared, encouraged participants took part in actively throughout the course. Dr. Fredric – Director of AITCV also commented on the training results for the group working activities of each group. The training course closed by the certificate awarding by Dr. Fredric.
