In the morning of September 30, 2020 at the Hall of Trinh Cong Son – Van Lang University (VLU) solemnly held the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement (MoA) between the Center of Asian Institute of Technology and Van Lang University (VLU) under the witness of the Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand, together with representatives from the Office of the Ministry of Education in Ho Chi Minh City.
Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of AIT, there was the participation of Dr. Eden Woon – Chairman of AIT and the entire Vice President Office and Deans; Dr. Phung Van Dong – Director of AIT in Vietnam (AITCV), MA. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy (Chief Representative of Southern AITCV office) and AITCV staff. On the side of Van Lang University, PhD. Nguyen Cao Tri – VLU’s President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu – Principal and Dean of the VLU.
Pursuant to the strategic cooperation agreement (MoU) signed between AIT and VLU on July 22, 2020, to build a sustainable partnership in the future, serving benefits joint activities of research, teaching and learning of the two parties. The detailed cooperation agreement covers the following basic contents: implementation of university-master consolidation programs, PhD training; promote training and exchange of expertise among researchers; co-organizing international conferences; exchange Vietnamese students to participate in international graduate degrees and other projects … Speaking at the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement, Dr. Nguyen Cao Tri – President of Van Lang University and PhD. Phung Van Dong – Director of AITCV believe that the cooperation relationship between the two parties will have good and sustainable development in the future, contributing to the achievement of the strategic goal of 2020 – 2025, vision 2030 of the Van Lang University.
