November 08th – 10th, 2017 – the Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam implemented the training for managers and supervisors of PNJ company in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 3-day-training course had participation of nearly 40 managers and supervisors of PNJ Company. The course focused on knowledge and skills that a manager needs to be able to manage their work and staff effectively. After the course, participants gain a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a manager: Know how to supervise, coordinate and build an effective team; Assigning and authorizing employees, while controlling the results of work; Accurate and fair evaluation of employee performance; At the same time, participants can improve communication skills effectively, solve problems, make decisions timely and motivate employees to work better. In addition, participants had opportunity to improve their knowledge of 4M, LEAN and improve their production so that they will be able to manage the production team more effectively and achieve better quality.

Under the guidance and flexible training methods of well-trained, hard-working instructors like MA. Huynh Thi Kim Hoan and Dr. Bui Nguyen Hung – both experts have long-year-experience in management and teaching in production management skills, the participants had chance to explore and gain variety of knowledge learned in practice, find the direction of applying the knowledge in their daily work. Lecturers had good time management, were confident and professional in expression for the course content. Participants were very enthusiastic, cooperative and serious in the course activities. This made the training course successfully.
