The above training courses are aimed at building the capacity of Project Management Units, environmental consultants, state management agencies, and consultants directly or indirectly involved in the process of making appraise, implement and monitor the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report of development projects, as well as develop relevant policies. Specifically, training courses help participants understand and properly apply social and environmental safeguard policies of the government and donors, namely the WB (new policy framework) and ADB; equipped with techniques and tools while helping participants to practice the necessary skills to be able to produce quality EIA reports, develop appropriate monitoring indicators; understand the role and effectively build relationships with stakeholders in the project; share and discuss common problems, as well as good practices in the field related to leading industry trainers and experts.
