AIT Vietnam is dedicated to nurturing high-potential future leaders and opening pathways to global integration through Master’s programs. For the 2026–2027 academic year, AIT Vietnam offers scholarships of up to 50% of tuition fees, providing outstanding candidates with greater access to internationally recognized postgraduate education.

The AIT Scholarship honors candidates who go beyond academic excellence. It is designed for individuals who demonstrate leadership potential, a global mindset, and a strong commitment to contributing to the AIT academic community while creating positive, sustainable impact for organizations and society at large.

Scholarships will be reviewed and awarded in a single selection round in June 2026, for students commencing their studies in September 2026.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for the AIT Vietnam Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Meet all admission requirements of the selected Master’s program
  • Enroll in the September 2026 intake
  • Submit a complete scholarship application by the deadline announced by the program
  • Achieve a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.2/4.0 or equivalent
  • Applicants must hold an internationally recognized English proficiency certificate with a minimum level equivalent to IELTS 7.0
  • Provide two (02) letters of recommendation
  • Have at least five (05) years of experience in middle-management positions (e.g. Department Head, Deputy Head) or higher

Scholarship Selection Criteria

Scholarship decisions are based on an overall review of each applicant’s profile, including:

  • Academic achievement
  • English language proficiency
  • Academic research experience and/or professional experience
  • Demonstrated capacity to contribute to the AIT academic community and broader society

Scholarship Selection Process

The scholarship selection process includes the following steps:

  • Application deadline: June 15, 2026
  • Admission results announcement: June 21, 2026
  • Online interview (tentative): July 6, 2026
  • Final results announcement (tentative): July 15, 2026

Selected candidates will be contacted directly by the Committee.

Eligible Programs

The scholarship applies to all Master’s programs delivered by AIT in Vietnam, except the Professional Master of Project Management in Construction (MPM).

Scholarship Application Documents

Applicants are required to submit the following documents as part of the scholarship application:

  • Statement of Interest (maximum 500 words)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Two (02) letters of recommendation from supervisors, colleagues, or former academic instructors
  • Academic transcripts and degree certificates
  • IELTS certificate or equivalent English proficiency certification
  • Other relevant degrees, certificates, awards, or recognitions (if any)

All application documents must be prepared in English and compiled into a single PDF file.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Before submitting a scholarship application, applicants are advised to carefully review the Scholarship Terms and Conditions.
  • The final scholarship value will be determined based on the evaluation results of the Selection Committee.
  • The scholarship selection process is highly competitive due to a limited number of awards relative to the volume of applications. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee the award of a scholarship.
  • AIT reserves the right to adjust the scholarship value and allocation when necessary.

SCHOLARSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to students awarded scholarships for AIT Master’s programs delivered in Vietnam for the 2026–2027 academic year, excluding the Professional Master of Project Management in Construction (MPM).

2. Scholarship Value and Coverage

  • The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction of up to 50% of the total program tuition.
  • The scholarship applies to tuition fees only and does not cover other expenses, including but not limited to overseas study components, graduation fees, application fees, learning materials, living expenses, or any additional incurred costs.
  • The scholarship cannot be converted into cash and is non-transferable under any circumstances.

3. Obligations of Scholarship Recipients

  • Scholarship recipients are required to fully comply with all academic regulations, training policies, and institutional rules of AIT throughout the duration of their studies.
  • In the event that a student fails to meet academic requirements (minimum semester CGPA of 3.2/4.0), the student will be required to pay the full tuition fees for the remaining semesters.

4. Deferral, Program Transfer, and Changes in Enrollment Status

  • Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later intake or transferred to another cohort.
  • Scholarship recipients are not permitted to transfer to another academic program during the course of study.
  • In cases where a student suspends studies, withdraws, or discontinues the program for any reason, the scholarship will be automatically terminated.

5. Scholarship Termination

AIT Vietnam reserves the right to terminate the scholarship in the following cases:

  • The student provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information in the scholarship application.
  • The student commits serious violations of academic regulations, institutional policies, or academic integrity standards.
  • The student fails to maintain satisfactory academic progress as required by the program.
  • The student voluntarily withdraws from the program.

6. Communication and Use of Image

  • Scholarship recipients consent to AIT Vietnam using their images, quotations, or learning experiences for communication, academic promotion, and student recruitment purposes.
  • Such use will be conducted in a reasonable and appropriate manner, without infringing upon the student’s legitimate personal rights.

7. Right of Amendment and Final Decision

  • AIT Vietnam reserves the right to amend, supplement, or update these Scholarship Terms and Conditions when necessary to meet management and operational requirements.
  • AIT Vietnam retains the right of interpretation and final decision on all scholarship-related matters, within the limits permitted by law.

8. Effectiveness

These Terms and Conditions take effect from the date the scholarship is accepted and remain valid throughout the student’s period of study in the program.
