AITCV celebrated the 29th anniversary

On May 30, 2022, Asian Institute of Technology Center in Vietnam (AITCV) organized the Gala Dinner to celebrate the 29th anniversary at Grand Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is a special occasion to look back on the 29-year journey since AITCV was established from 1993 to be the first international education institution in Vietnam to provide international quality training programs towards the sustainable development of Vietnam and other countries in the region.

Attending the anniversary celebration were Dr. Eden Woon – President of AIT, Mr. Russell Rein – Vice President for Administration of AIT, Prof. Dieter Trau – Dean of SET, Dr. Phung Van Dong – Director of AITCV and AITCV’s staff, lecturers, sponsors and alumni.

At the anniversary celebration, Dr. Eden Woon gave an enthusiastic speech about AITCV’s achievements in education and effort in contributing to community development. Dr Eden Woon also shared about how AITCV overcame the difficulties of Covid-19 to maintain the high acceleration rate of student recruitment (5-10%/year).

In the near future, AIT in general and AITCV in particular will apply more innovation in teaching and operating to keep up with the development of society.

In this special occasion, to start a new chapter in the journey, AITCV kicked off the “Toward 30th AITCV Anniversary ” campaign with promising messages and activities.
