ASIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (AIT) AND VAN LANG EDUCATION GROUP GAVE AN IMPULSE TO IMPLEMENT THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

On May 30-31, 2022, AIT had a working trip to Van Lang University to discuss and give impetus to the implementation of the MOU signed on March 18, 2022.

Attending the visit from Van Lang University were Dr. Nguyen Cao Tri – Chairman of Van Lang University and A Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu – Rector of Van Lang University, and from AIT were Dr. Eden Woon – President of AIT, Mr. Russell Rein – Vice President of AIT and Dr. Phung Van Dong – Director of AIT Vietnam. It was the first time Dr. Eden Woon visited Vietnam and Van Lang University since Covid-19 outbroke all over the world.

At the visit, Dr. Eden Woon expressed his impression on the methodical investment in facilities, and teaching equipment as well as the attentive preparation of knowledge and human resources of Van Lang University. He also fully believed in the bright future of AIT University in Vietnam based on these advantages.

The visit ended successfully with the cordial welcome from Van Lang University. This event also strengthened the relationship between AIT and Van Lang Education Group, concretized the plan within the scope of the MOU and opened more potential cooperation opportunities in the future.

On July 22, 2020, Van Lang University was the first university to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with AIT on educating and research projects in Technology, AI, Data Science, Economics, etc.

On September 30, 2020, the Signing Ceremony between the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Van Lang University took place, with 12 Unified programs signed, helping learners to flexibly choose their curriculum, studying 3.5 years Bachelor’s program in Vietnam before studying 1.5 years in Thailand to receive one degree from VLU and one Master’s degree from AIT.

On March 18, 2022, Van Lang Education Group signed an MOU with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). It is an important milestone towards building a new educational institution, providing high-quality human resources for the domestic and foreign labor market.
