On October 19, 2026, participants of AIT Vietnam’s CEO 2026 Executive Training Program visited 2-9 Dak Lak Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco Daklak) to gain practical insights into business management, production organization, and operational practices at one of Vietnam’s leading coffee exporters. 

During the session, Mr. Thai Anh Tuan, General Director of Simexco Daklak, and Ms. Le Vu Thuy Dung, Deputy General Director of Commerce, shared insights into the company’s development, business activities, and management experience. With annual export volumes of approximately 100,000–120,000 tonnes of coffee and 4,000–6,000 tonnes of pepper, Simexco Daklak offered participants a practical perspective on business organization and management in the agricultural export sector.

The delegation also toured Simexco Hoa Phu Factory to observe coffee and pepper processing operations firsthand. Participants learned about coffee reception and preliminary processing before export, as well as the sorting, roasting, sterilization, and packaging stages for pepper. They also discussed production management, agricultural product storage, and workforce planning for both seasonal and long-term employees. 

In addition to exploring the production processes, participants had the opportunity to sample Arabica and Robusta coffee varieties, gaining a deeper understanding of the company’s key products and Vietnam’s coffee industry.

The visit provided CEO 2026 participants with valuable perspectives on how an agricultural export enterprise manages resources, organizes production, and coordinates its operational processes. Direct exchanges with the company’s leadership also enabled participants to relate management concepts to real-world business practices, broadening their perspectives and strengthening their understanding of executive leadership.
