On November 6th 2025, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Nam Can Tho University (DNC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming their commitment to collaboration in education, academic exchange, research, and technology transfer.

The signing ceremony was held in a warm and open atmosphere, with senior leaders from both institutions in attendance. Representing AIT were Prof. Pai-Chi Li – AIT President and Dr. Phung Van Dong – Executive Director of AIT Vietnam. From DNC, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang – Party Secretary and Rector participated, accompanied by leaders from various departments, faculties, and centers.

Through this strategic partnership, the two institutions will jointly implement key initiatives, including collaborative training programs, faculty and student exchanges, research projects, and co-supervision of doctoral candidates. Promising areas of cooperation include:
- Unified Bachelor-Master Programs in Economics and Data Science – Artificial Intelligence
- Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Program
- Potential joint Master’s programs in Semiconductor Technology
This collaboration represents a major milestone in educational and research cooperation, paving the way for academic exchanges and the development of high-quality human resources in the Mekong Delta region.
