On October 15th 2021, the Asian Institute Technology in Vietnam (AIT Vietnam) held the opening ceremony of the first Professional Master’s in Business Analytics & Digital Transformation course in Vietnam.
The Professional master’s in Business Analytics and Digital Transformation is designed to enhance skills and knowledge of professionals tasked to use business analytics as a driver of business change and as a catalyst for successful digital transformation. Program graduates are expected to take on leadership roles in the analytics and transformation domain across industries and sectors.
The ceremony was attended and addressed by. Dr. Phung Van Dong – AIT Vietnam’s Director, Dr. Naveed Anwar – Vice President for Knowledge Transfer, Dr Roger Levermore – Dean of SOM school, Dr Sundar Venkatesh – Program Director of Professional Master Program, Ms. Anushma & Ms. Vorakarn, AIT Vietnam staff and PMBADT students in this course.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr Phung Van Dong delivered his welcoming speech to the students and briefly introduced AIT Vietnam.
After that, Dr Naveed Anwar briefly introduced AIT. He asserted that with more than 60 years of tradition and experience of AIT, the school committed to creating the best learning conditions for the students and expected them to have meaningful experience at AIT. The Vice President also extended his thanks to SOM to organize this course.
On behalf of the SOM school, Dr Roger Levermore extended his thanks to the students and introduced some of the main features of SOM school and the Professional Master program.
In order to help students be well prepared before the course, Dr Sundar Venkatesh briefly shared about the structure, the course requirements and the Faculty of the Program.
Students quickly shared about their backgrounds as well as their expectations for attending the PMBADT course. All students are determined to study well for their future tasks.
The opening ceremony of the first Professional Master’s in Business Analytics & Digital Transformation course in Vietnam came to an end with a sharing and photo-taking session.
