Objectives
The course is designed to provide enterprises effective tools to manage and control environmental impacts of all activities throughout the supply chain by assessing the sustainability status of the current supply chain and proposing eco-innovation programs to improve supply chain, minimizing its destructive environmental effects. A number of key activities in the supply chain such as purchasing and procurement, transportation and packaging will be focused to improve the sustainability status of the whole chain.

Topic
The 3 main topics focused in the course:
1. An overview of green supply chain
2. Greening supply chain
3. Developing a green action plan for supply chain

Target Participants
The course is beneficial for supply chain managers, production managers, environmental managers, supply chain supervisors and technical staff working in inventory, purchasing, procurement, transportation and packaging departments. The course is also a good choice for staff involved in projects or programs launched by their enterprises to improve their supply chain with the aim of cutting cost, eliminating environmental impacts, specifically waste and emissions, saving energy and water to gain competitive advantages for their enterprise.

Methodology
The course is designed in the form of presentations combined with practices of real green supply chain cases. The presentations are given in the form of videos about real hands-on applications while practices provide participants know-how to apply introduced tools in the course, to develop sustainable indicators for a supply chain, assess the supply chain, thereby recommend solutions to green supply chain of the enterprise. The lesson drawn from the training activities that serves as the basis for the participants to complete the Green Supply Chain project of their own enterprise will be proposed at the end of the course.
