The Orientation of the 17th Entry of the international Executive Master Program of Business Administration (iEMBA)

The Orientation of the Entry of the international Executive Master Program of Business Administration (iEMBA), the 17th intake took place successfully on 19 October 2016 at Daewoo Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam.

The ceremony with presence of Mrs. Le Thi Lam Tra – The Deputy General Manager of Petro Vietnam; Dr. Fredric W. Swierczek – AITVN’s Director; Dr. Pham Thi Kim Ngoc – iEMBA program coordinator in Vietnam; Students, Alumni and AIT-VN staff.

The iEMBA Program is an international program of the School of Management (SOM) AIT, Thailand. In Vietnam, the program was launched in 2000 and then expanded in the southern provinces such as Hochiminh City, Dong Nai, Vung Tau. With nearly 1500 alumni of the program from the first lauching time until now, the program has demonstrated the appeal and heat as well as the practical application of the program. Currently the alumni are now middle-level manager, and senior level of state-owned enterprises, private, foreign and joint ventures and non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.

In order to be able to participate in the course, candidates must undergo several rounds of approval including the experience of the applicant, interviews, English entrance examination. The program is instructed in English and lasts for 16 months. Detailed information about the program can be found here.

The students of the 17th intake in Hanoi come from many organizations such as: Petro Vietnam, Vietnam Oil and Gas group (Petro Vietnam), LILAMA Corporation, Minh Khang Company, Vietnam Electricity, Petro Vietnam, EVN Information Center Technology, WB School Readiness Promotion Project, Giang Son TS. Co., Ldt. Ms. Le Thi Lam Tra, The Deputy General Manager of Petro Vietnam and the 03 other iEMBA Alumni shared about beautiful moments,” memorable and unforgottable experience” when overcome the program’s challenges as Ms. Lam Tra highlighted in the ceremony.
